My Style
I offer intentional, unhurried editorial portrait sessions for pets and their humans. Created for people who want images that feel honest, natural, and deeply personal.
Pet Packages
Natural, relaxed photography for the animals who are part of your story.
Whether energetic, curious, gentle, or completely chaotic, these sessions are designed to capture your companions as they truly are — the little expressions, personalities, and moments that make them feel so deeply part of home.
My approach is calm and documentary-led, allowing space for movement, play, and genuine interaction rather than stiff posing or forced direction.
From woodland walks and windswept beaches to quiet moments at home, the focus is always on creating honest, character-filled imagery that feels natural, emotional, and timeless.

Portrait Packages
Natural imagery for creative people.
Portrait sessions are a space to be seen — without performance, without expectation, and without needing to present anything other than yourself.
These are unhurried, editorial sessions created for individuals, creatives, and professionals who want imagery that feels grounded in who they are, not who they are trying to appear to be.
I work on location, using natural environments that allow for movement, ease, and presence. Nothing is overly staged. The focus is on observation — how you exist in a space, how you hold yourself, and what unfolds when you are not performing for the camera.
The result is imagery that feels honest and considered. Not constructed portraits, but a visual record of presence, personality, and atmosphere.

About Me:
I’m Kai, a photographer with years of experience and a deep passion for imagery. Kaileidoscope Photography is a portrait experience focused on the relationship between pets and their people.
Based in the UK, I work on location across coastal, woodland, and open landscapes; wherever the environment allows space for movement, ease, and natural interaction.
My work is centred around observing connection as it already exists, rather than constructing it. Each session is guided gently, allowing dogs and their humans to settle into themselves without pressure or performance.
I focus on creating images that feel honest, unforced, and emotionally grounded. Not as posed portraits, but as records of presence: shaped by behaviour, personality, and the bond shared between you.
The sessions are unhurried. The approach is observational. The intention is always the same: to create portraits that feel true to the relationship as it is, not as it is directed to be.
What to expect
-
This is where you first reach out and have a call with me.
You may already have a clear vision, or you may simply know you want to remember this part of your life properly; the walks, the connection, the way your dog fits into your world.
We talk about your dog’s personality, your dynamic together, and what feels most natural for you both. Nothing needs to be perfectly defined here.
It is simply about understanding what matters.
-
From there, we refine everything together.
We explore locations, timing, and atmosphere, whether that’s open landscapes, coastal wind, woodland stillness, or somewhere meaningful to you.
I also gently guide you through what the session will feel like on the day, so there is no pressure or uncertainty. Not to control the experience, but to allow you to arrive into it fully present.
By the end of this stage, everything feels clear but never rigid.
-
On the day itself, nothing is rushed.
We arrive slowly. We allow space for your dog to explore, settle, and simply be themselves. There is no expectation for immediate behaviour or perfect cooperation; only time to adjust and become comfortable.
From there, we move gently through the session.
Sometimes I will guide you into interaction. Sometimes I will step back completely and observe what unfolds naturally between you. The work lives in that balance, direction and distance, movement and stillness.
Nothing is forced. Nothing is overly staged.
It is simply time, shared and observed.
-
After your session, I carefully select and edit your images in a way that reflects the feeling of the day rather than reshaping it.
You are then invited to your private online gallery.
This is where everything returns to you; the movement, the quiet moments, the connection you may not have noticed while it was happening.
You choose the images that feel most honest. The ones that hold something real.
-
Once you have made your selections, each image is carefully edited in my signature cinematic style.
This process is considered and intentional; focused on tone, light, emotion, and atmosphere, rather than heavy retouching or alteration.
Your final gallery is then delivered in high resolution, ready to download, print, and keep.
What you receive is not just documentation of how things looked.
It is a record of how it felt to be there.
A quiet archive of connection, exactly as it was.
